We have waited for spring, it never came but summer seems to of hit quite well around here. More photos of blooms around are property for "pretty" are below. There are a couple of blooms I cannot find what they are or I forgot what they are.
Do you have a bird feeder filled with black oil sunflower seeds? We do. Guess what is growing where it used to be. Yep, Dozens of sunflowers are coming up next to the blueberry bush.
The chamomile is blooming. I should of added a dime next to it to show how small it is.
I should of also added a size comparison to the clover. They are huge, like the size of a 50-cent piece and bigger!
I am not sure, but this may be a harebell. It is so delicate.
The lamb's ears above are in full bloom. The hummingbirds and bees love it. Sorry for the dark photo.
There is no way to capture the true color of the lobelia above. If one is familiar with the electric blue heading towards purple that was used in black-light posters back in the 60s and 70s, then you can at least imagine these blooms. they hurt your eyes they are so vivid. The two photos are Mariposa lilies. I had never seen them before.
The phlox when the buds appeared and now in full bloom. Beautiful!
A close-up of one of the snowballs from a previous post. Sadly, they have all gone now.
This photo was taken looking straight down on the abundant yarrow growing all over. I love the teeny flower clusters.
That is it for now.
Hey you , up there, Nor. East of me.
ReplyDeleteI get it I do. But would we change it? Don't think so. Just change the way we "family". My turn tomorrow, 3 young ladies , replacing the little girls of last summer.
3 young ladies, 1 gammie, 1 grandpa and 1 week.
