Silly squirrels and another blog

Himself's minions are being twice as silly as normal. Some critter, maybe them, tore the lids of the feeders. One squirrel was very happy for the access, as you can see below.

(Edit: As of 2016, this blog's content is now moved to this blog.)

I started a separate blog for my gardening adventures. It is listed under my profile, or click here-
HearthWench (Debbi's) Website

I need to get the bread into the oven. Regular (white and whole wheat and a blend of spelt and a few other flours) "sandwich" bread this batch. the next one, I am adding the 7-grain blend from Wheat Montana, also a hot cereal, for a toasting bread. For now, this is all I can do. I did squats all day laying out our garden beds.

It sucks to get old. Ow and an Oof.

Deb

I am a bit ecclectic. This blog is whimsical musings about my various interests and sharing things I am learning. If anything, it will be a good sleeping pill, no?

  1. And Missy what do you know about old???

I am so delighted to know you bake your own bread. I know you mentioned a source local to you "better than KAF". Could it be? Who?

    A howdy honk your way.

  2. Wheat Montana. Sustainable grower over to the east of me. Bread does not mold in a moment here like it did in Pioneer. I do slice it once cool, then seal and put in the freezer so it stays really fresh.

    I was so frustrated.
You have one wild Squirrel, or should I say..you had.
We have them too, but they only bother my bulbs so far. They plant them in the orchard for me..we give them nuts to keep them happy.
I am going to go back and look at your posts and I will come often.
Your an Idahoan, so fun! Mary
